Quick Hangar, LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 23, 2025
Welcome to Quick HangarSM. Quick Hangar, LLC ("Quick Hangar," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information when you use our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace for aircraft hangar rental and related services (our "Services"). This Policy applies to all users of the Services, including hangar owners, aircraft owners, pilots, and Quick HangarSM website or app visitors.
By using our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace, you acknowledge you have read and understood this Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time (see Section 11 Changes to This Policy below) and will notify you of any material changes as required by law.
1. Information We Collect and How
We collect various types of information from and about you and your aircraft in order to provide and improve our Services. Below is an overview of the information we collect:
- Account Information. When you create a Quick HangarSM account, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and biographical information. To verify identity and licensure, we will request a government-issued ID (e.g. driver's license, passport). If you sign up as a business or commercial operator, we may also collect business-related information, such as company name or tax ID, as part of your account profile.
- Payment Information. We do not process payments on our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace. Hangar owners set up an account directly with a third-party payment processor (e.g. Stripe) to process payments. You may be directed to a third-party payment processor from our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace; however, we do not collect payment card information. We may receive confirmation of a payment transaction from the third-party payment processor.
- Aircraft Information. If you are an aircraft owner or pilot using our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace, we collect details about your aircraft. This includes the aircraft tail number, make/model, year, dimensions (such as length, wingspan, height), weight, and other specifications. We may also collect information about your aircraft's insurance coverage and policy details, as well as your pilot certifications, licenses, and ratings. This information is used to ensure proper matching with hangar space and for safety and compliance purposes.
- Hangar Information. If you are a hangar owner listing space on our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace, we collect information about your hangar. This includes the hangar location/address, physical dimensions and specifications, available amenities or services (e.g. power, fuel access, loaner vehicle), pricing and availability schedule, photos and descriptions of the space, and proof of ownership or authorization to list the hangar. We collect this information to inform prospective renters about the space and to verify that listings meet our Quick HangarSM requirements.
- Vehicle Information. Occasionally, hangar owners offer renters a loaner vehicle. In the event a loaner vehicle is reserved, we will collect driver's license and insurance information to verify a valid driver's license and insurance coverage for compliance and safety.
- Communications and Content. We collect information related to communications and content you create on the Quick HangarSM e-marketplace. This includes messages you send through our messaging system, your interactions with our customer support, and any reviews, ratings, or feedback you submit. We also collect responses you provide to surveys or questionnaires that we may send to gather feedback. These communications are monitored and stored to assist with customer service, dispute resolution, and improving our Services.
- Device and Usage Information (Collected Automatically). When you use our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace, we automatically collect certain technical information about your device and how you interact with our Services. This data includes your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and language settings, and mobile app version or device identifiers. We also log usage details such as the pages or screens you visit, features you use, the date and time of your visits, the amount of time spent on pages, and your search queries and booking history on our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace. This information helps us understand user engagement and improve the functionality and user experience of our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace.
- Location Data. If you use the Quick HangarSM app with location-based features, we may collect location information. With your permission, we may receive precise geolocation data from your mobile device to help you find nearby hangars or to facilitate check-in/check-out at a hangar. We may also infer a general location from your IP address (e.g. city or country level) and utilize hangar and airport location data you provide or that is publicly available. Location information is used for map features, matching aircraft to suitable hangars, and enhancing safety and compliance, such as ensuring aircraft are in approved locations.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies. Like many online platforms, we use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities. These technologies help us remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and gather analytics about how users navigate our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace. They also assist in providing personalized content. For more details, see Section 9 Cookies and Tracking Technologies below.
- Information from Third Parties. We may receive personal information about you from third-party sources to supplement what you provide:
- Identity Verification and Background Checks. For safety and compliance, we may use third-party identity verification services and background check providers. We receive verification results confirming your identity or background history on matters like fraud or criminal convictions. We might also obtain credit or financial information when relevant (for instance, assessing risk).
- Aviation Data Sources. We collect data from aviation-related databases and services. This can include information from the FAA aircraft registry to confirm aircraft ownership and tail numbers, airport and airspace data to verify hangar locations and airport regulations, and weather or flight information services. Such data helps ensure bookings comply with aviation rules and that our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace information is up to date.
- Social Media and Referral Partners. If you connect your Quick HangarSM account with a social media account or another partner service, or if you were referred to us by another user or marketing partner, we may receive certain information from them. This could include your profile name or handle, profile photo, contacts/friend list, or referral information. We only collect what you or the third-party platform authorize, and we use it to facilitate Quick HangarSM account setup, referrals, or offering integrated features.
We collect the above information either directly from you when you fill out forms or communicate with us, automatically through your use of the Services, or from third-party sources as described. We limit our collection to what is necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes, all in support of operating a safe and effective aircraft hangar rental marketplace:
- Provide and Improve Our Services. We use your information to operate our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace and provide our Services.
- Your information is used to process hangar bookings and reservations, facilitate communications between pilots and hangar owners or managers, provide customer support and respond to inquiries, and ensure transactions are processed correctly.
- We use identity and credential information (e.g. pilot licenses or IDs) to verify users and conduct necessary background checks, helping to build trust on our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace. Your contact information is used to send you confirmations, updates, and important service-related notifications about bookings, account status, or policy changes.
- We also analyze usage and feedback to troubleshoot issues, develop new features, and improve the overall quality and functionality of our Services.
- Safety and Security. Your information is crucial to maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant e-marketplace and offering quality Services.
- We use personal and aircraft data to verify that aircraft and hangars meet our safety criteria and to cross-check against aviation regulations.
- We conduct user screenings and fraud prevention measures, such as using identity verification results and background check data to flag suspicious activities or violations of our Terms of Service. Information about how you use our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace and Services helps us detect and investigate potential fraudulent behavior, security breaches, or misuse of the Services.
- We may use and share necessary information to enforce our Terms of Service, to prevent harm, and to comply with applicable aviation safety laws or other legal requirements.
- Personalization and Marketing. We want to enhance your experience on our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace.
- We may use your information to personalize some of our Services, such as recommending relevant hangar listings or tailoring search results based on your aircraft type and location.
- With your consent where required, we also use contact and usage information to send promotional communications. For example, we might email you about new features, special offers, or aviation events that might interest you. We try to show content and advertisements that are relevant, for instance, highlighting hangars that fit your aircraft's dimensions, or displaying ads for services useful to pilots and operators.
- We perform market research and data analytics to understand our user base and improve our matching algorithms and business model. You can opt out of marketing communications as described in the Communication Preferences paragraph of Section 4 below.
- Legal Compliance and Protection. We use personal information as needed to comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights.
- This includes using data to fulfill duties under financial, tax, and aviation regulations. For example, maintaining transaction records for government compliance.
- If we receive lawful requests from public authorities (e.g. subpoenas or orders related to flight operations or safety), we may use your data to respond.
- We also process information to enforce our agreements, like our Terms of Service, and to resolve or defend legal claims.
- Your information may be used to investigate or prevent illegal activities, fraud, abuse, or security threats, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Quick Hangar, our users, or others.
We may combine information from different sources for the above purposes. We will not use your personal information for purposes that are incompatible with those described in this Policy without notifying you and obtaining your consent if required.
3. Who We Share Your Information With
We share personal information only as necessary to provide our Services, for the purposes described above, and as required or permitted by law. The main instances in which we may share your information are:
- Other Users of the Quick HangarSM E-marketplace. As a e-marketplace, certain information needs to be shared between users to facilitate transactions. If you are an aircraft owner or pilot seeking hangar space, the hangar owners or managers you interact with will see the information on your profile, such as your name, aircraft details, and any profile picture or bio. Likewise, if you are a hangar owner, prospective renters or pilots will see your public profile and listing details, including your name or business name, the hangar information, photos, amenities, reviews, etc. When a booking is requested or confirmed, both parties will receive relevant information about each other to process the reservation (e.g., contact information and exact hangar location). Additionally, any reviews or ratings you submit will be visible to other users publicly on the Quick HangarSM e-marketplace, and some basic profile information, such as your first name, initial, or general location may be visible to all users or visitors browsing our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace.
- Service Providers and Partners. We use trusted third-party companies to help us operate our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace and carry out various business functions. We share information with these service providers only to the extent necessary for them to perform tasks on our behalf, and we contractually require them to protect it and use it solely for the services they are providing. For example, personal data is shared with:
- Third-party payment processors such as Stripe, to handle secure payment transactions and payouts. Quick Hangar itself does not store your full payment card details; those are handled by the payment processor in accordance with their security standards.
- Identity verification and background check providers to confirm identities and vet users for trust and safety.
- Cloud hosting and IT infrastructure providers that store our data and host our Quick HangarSM app in secure data centers.
- Customer support tools and communication platforms that assist in managing support tickets, in-app chats, or email communications with you.
- Analytics and marketing providers such as services that help us analyze app usage or manage email campaigns.
These third parties only receive the information needed for their specific function, for instance, the payment processor gets your payment details and transaction amount, but not your communications or other unrelated data. Third-party service providers are instructed not to use your information for any other purpose without your consent or our authorization.
- Business Transfers. If Quick Hangar undergoes a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, corporate reorganization, or sale of all or part of its assets, your personal information may be transferred to the successor or acquiring entity as part of that transaction. In such cases, we will ensure that the new owner understands that they must honor the commitments we have made in this Policy with respect to your personal information. Similarly, if we are involved in a financing or bankruptcy proceeding, or transition of the Services to another provider, personal information may be disclosed in connection with that process as necessary.
- Legal Compliance and Protection. We may disclose your information when required by law or when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or comply with a legal obligation. This includes sharing data to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; responding to lawful requests by government or regulatory authorities, including aviation regulators or law enforcement; or disclosing information that is necessary to investigate or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or security issues. We may also share information as needed to enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Quick Hangar, our employees, our users, or the public.
- With Your Consent or At Your Direction. We will share your personal information with third parties in situations where you expressly consent to or request such sharing. For example, if you integrate your Quick HangarSM account with a third-party service and authorize the transfer of information, or if you participate in a promotion or feature where sharing is necessary, we will share data accordingly. We will also honor any requests you make to share your information, for instance, if you ask us to provide a reference or verification to a third party.
In addition to the above, we may share information that has been aggregated or deidentified such that it no longer reasonably identifies you. For example, we might share statistics about usage of our Quick HangarSM app or average booking rates in a certain region, as these do not contain personal data. Such aggregated data may be disclosed without restriction because it cannot be used to identify any individual.
We do not monetize or exchange your personal information for money. However, some sharing of data for analytics or personalized advertising might be considered a 'sale' or 'share' under certain privacy laws, as explained below.
4. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
We strive to provide you with access and control, so you can manage your privacy preferences.
- Account Settings. You can access and update certain personal information at any time by logging into your Quick HangarSM account. Through your Quick HangarSM account profile settings, you can update or correct your contact information and other profile details, add or change your profile photo, and modify other Quick HangarSM account information. In your settings, you can also adjust some privacy preferences and control what information is visible to other users on your profile. If you wish to deactivate or delete your Quick HangarSM account, you may do so through the Quick HangarSM account settings or by contacting us, as described below. Deleting your Quick HangarSM account will remove your profile from public view, although we may retain certain information as required or permitted by law (see Section 6 Data Retention below).
- Communication Preferences. Quick Hangar gives you the choice to opt out of marketing communications and certain other communications. If you no longer wish to receive promotional emails or newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in those emails or by adjusting your email preferences in your account settings. You can also contact us at any time to be removed from our marketing list. For SMS messages or mobile push notifications, you can follow the instructions provided with those messages to opt out or manage them via your device settings. Please note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you transactional or administrative messages that are necessary for the Services, such as booking confirmations, verification requests, or important account notices.
Additionally, depending on your jurisdiction or residence, you may have various rights and choices regarding your personal information and how it is handled by Quick Hangar. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. That means we will not deny you our Services, or provide a different level or quality of Service, just because you choose to exercise your privacy rights. However, please note that in some cases we may not be able to fulfill a request (e.g., deleting certain data) without having to close your Quick HangarSM account or limit the functionality of the Services, if that data is essential to providing the Service. We will explain any such consequences or exceptions if they apply.

5. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement industry standard measures to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures include:

Please note that while we strive to protect your information, no app, website, or internet transmission is completely secure. You can also play a part in keeping your data safe by maintaining strong passwords, protecting your account credentials, and logging out after using our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace or Services on devices. If you have any reason to believe that your interaction with us or your data may no longer be secure (e.g., if you suspect your Quick HangarSM account has been compromised), please contact us immediately.
6. Data Retention
Quick Hangar retains personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. This means we keep your data for the period of time you have a Quick HangarSM account and/or are using our Services, and thereafter for only so long as there is a legitimate need to retain it. Specifically:
- We retain account and profile information while your Quick HangarSM account is active. If you close your Quick HangarSM account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period after Quick HangarSM account deletion. However, we may keep certain data for an additional period as needed for legal, tax, or compliance reasons. For example, backup copies of data might persist for a short time, and we may retain records if required by law, such as records of transactions.
- Booking and payment records are generally kept for at least seven (7) years, although certain tax records may be kept indefinitely. This retention period is to comply with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting requirements, which often mandate keeping such records for a number of years.
- Communications, both messages and support, are typically retained for at least five (5) years unless you request their deletion sooner. Retaining these communications helps us manage disputes, provide customer service, and improve our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace. If you request that we delete certain communications data, we will do so unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons or for our business management or operations.
- Marketing data, such as email subscription information or analytics data, is retained until you withdraw your consent or opt out, or until it's no longer useful for the purposes it was collected. For example, if you unsubscribe from our mailing list, we will stop sending you emails but may keep your contact information on a suppression list to ensure we honor your opt-out.
- If any information is needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements, we will retain that data for as long as necessary to fulfill such purposes. For instance, if you were involved in a dispute or an incident on Quick HangarSM e-marketplace, we might retain relevant data until the issue is fully resolved and any statute of limitations has passed.
When determining retention periods, we consider the nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure if we retain it, the purposes for which we process it and how long we need it to achieve those purposes, and the applicable legal requirements for retention. When we no longer have a legitimate business need or legal obligation to keep your personal information, we will securely delete, destroy, or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible (e.g., because the data is stored in backup archives), we will isolate the data from any further processing until deletion is feasible.
7. International Data Transfers
Quick Hangar is based in the United States, and the personal information we collect is primarily stored and processed on servers located in the U.S. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States (for example, from Canada, or Mexico), please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our facilities or those of our service providers are located. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from those in your country of residence, and in some cases may not be deemed to provide the same level of protection.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Quick Hangar is an app for hangar owners and managers, aircraft owners, pilots, and aviation professionals and enthusiasts. Users are expected to be adults with the legal capacity to enter into rental agreements. If you are under 18, you should not use or attempt to register on Quick Hangar. You should not provide us with any personal information.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18 without proper consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our records. If you believe that a child may have provided personal data to us, please contact us so that we can investigate and remove the information as necessary.

The Quick HangarSM e-marketplace may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services that are not operated by us. For example, our Quick HangarSM e-marketplace may link out to an external identity verification service during signup, or to social media platforms where we have a page or account. Additionally, hangar listings or user profiles may contain links or references to third-party resources (such as an airport's website or a pilot's personal page).

Your browsing and interaction on any third-party site or service is subject to that third party's own rules and policies, including their privacy policy. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or operations of these other sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit or service you use to understand how they collect and use information. This includes any third-party payment processors when you are directed to their site for payment processing. In all cases, third parties that handle your data will do so under their own terms.
Our inclusion of a link or integration in our Services does not imply that we endorse or have reviewed the third party's privacy practices; it is simply for convenience.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update or revise this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. If we make changes, we will notify you by including a last revised date at the top of this Policy and, in the case of material changes, by providing a prominent notice through our Services, such as a banner on our Quick HangarSM website or a notification through the Quick HangarSM app, or by contacting you via email. For substantive changes (for example, if we were to expand how we use your data or start collecting new types of data), we will seek re-consent from you if and as required by applicable law. Minor updates that do not materially affect privacy will be noted by updating the Policy and revision date.
